    General

    • Will breakfast be included at the hotel?

      Yes- breakfast is included at each hotel that was listed on the Conference Website.

    • Is there anything notable I should bring?
      • Reusable water-bottle (bottled water will be available for purchase)
      • Cocktail Party attire for the Banquet
      • Snacks! Additionally, there will be some available for purchase at our coffee station.
    • Is there a Lost and Found?

      There is a Lost & Found box at the Check-In table!

    • Will refunds be offered?

      No.

    • What are the Health & Safety guidelines for the Conference?

      We are following the CDC guidelines for gatherings of our size. Keeping in mind the health concerns in our community, we are confident that we can provide a safe and clean space for our guests!

    • Will ground transportation be offered during the Conference?

      No. We won’t be providing transportation, but we encourage attendees to explore options like ride-sharing apps or rental cars, which are readily available throughout Kansas City!

    Lunch

    • What time is lunch?

      Tuesday: 11:35 am – 1:00 pm

      Wednesday: 12:00 – 2:00 pm

    • What are we having?

      Tuesday: Chick-Fil-A

      Wednesday: Jason’s Deli (Boxed Lunch)

    • Are there options for Dietary Restrictions?

      No, unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate dietary restrictions this year. All registrants were notified of this during the registration process.

      Some restaurants near the Church may offer accommodations. Please note that you will be responsible for transportation to and from these places.

    • Where should we sit / go during lunch?

      There are tables set up in the Commons area and Church Lobby. You are also welcome to find a spot outside if the weather is nice! We ask that you do not eat in the Main Worship Center.

    Decade of Difference Party

    • What time is the Decade of Difference Party?

      6:00 - 9:00 pm

    • Where is the party?

      It is located in the Level 1 Student Center on your map.

    • Is there a dress code for the party?

      Casual - no need to change from what you are wearing during the day.

    • Will there be dinner?

      Yes. However, this will not be included. We will have food trucks on site with various dinner options available for purchase.

    • Can I bring someone who is not registered for the Conference?

      Yes! This is a laid-back event where you’re welcome to bring a guest.

    Banquet

    • What time is the Banquet?

      6:30 - 9:00 pm.

    • What time should I arrive?

      Plan to arrive by 6:30 pm.

    • Where is the Banquet?

    • Is there a dress code for this event?

      Yes! Think cocktail party.

    • What are we having?

      Jack Stack.

    • Are there options for Dietary Restrictions?

      Yes! There will be options availble to accomodate Gluten-Free and Vegan diets.

    • Will seats be assigned?

      No - seats will be first come first served (see exceptions below)

      KC Office Employees/Volunteers: Please sit in the Loge Level seating to ensure we have space for all conference guests on the main floor.

      Sponsors: Please make your way up to the Chandelier Bar for our sponsor event.

      Award Nominees: Please sit in the front 4 reserved tables.

    • Where should I park?

      1301 Main Street in downtown Kansas City, MO

      Enter the garage via Main Street or Walnut Street between 13th St. and 14th St.

      If the gates are closed, take a ticket to gain entry into the garage

      Park anywhere in the garage except spaces that say reserved.

      Park near / take Tax Office Elevator to L1

    Coffee

    • When will coffee station be open?

      The coffee station will be open through the entirety of the conference, and will open 30 minutes prior to the first event of the day

    • Is it free?

      No, you will need to pay for coffee/drinks/snacks.

    • Will there be any food / pastries served?

      They will sell water bottles ($1) and a small selection of snacks in addition to coffee beverages. You're also welcome to bring your own snacks, but you will be responsible for storing them.
